‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: On Jared Haibon, Ashley Iaconetti, Joe Bailey, and much more

Are there tears coming up on Sunday night’s new “Bachelor in Paradise” episode? Based on what we are seeing and hearing about right now, the simple answer to this is “you better believe it.” There are going to be some surprising splits that come about over the course of the episode, and it’s looking like one of them could be Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti.

We’re not going to give too much away about the future of these two, but one thing you have to remember here is that their trajectory as a couple so far has not been good. He’s never been as interested in her as she has been in him, and if it stays that way there is almost no way that this relationship (if you can call it that) can survive.

When it comes to Joe Bailey, we’ll just go ahead and give you the ABC synopsis that suggests that he and Samantha Steffen are more or less done:

“Joe has the worst birthday ever when Samantha decides to end their relationship. While Samantha laughs the night away, thinking she has washed her hands clean of the situation, Joe swears his revenge.”

We feel like one of the more interesting things that could come out of the rest of this season is seeing who ABC and the producers really want to bill as the villain of this season. There’s probably going to be some temptation to give it to Joe just because of the way he’s acted, but they’ve also wasted almost no time in turning Samantha into someone almost as complicit in what happened.
