‘America’s Got Talent’ results preview: Sharon Irving, Freckled Sky locks; Emily West, William Close to perform
Tonight’s “America’s Got Talent” results show is going to be fairly jam-packed. If you like variety, you’re going to have that and hopefully some pretty intense results to go along with it.
Let’s start this article with the headlining performers in Emily West and William Close. Neither one their season, but both bring a lot to the table. For William, we feel like his biggest issue was simply having an act that probably does not translate as well to viewers at home as it does being there in a live venue. His Earth Harp is, after all, one of the most interesting innovations when it comes to music that we’ve seen.
As for predicting who is going to be getting through to the next round, the locks right now are probably Derek Hughes, Sharon Irving, Craig Lewis Band, Freckled Sky, and Arielle Baril. From here, it gets a little more interesting. DM Nation and Myq Kaplan are probably better acts than either one of them showed last night, and and at the same time they have competition from rock band 3 Shades of Blue and circus performer Uzeyer Novruzov.
If we had to guess right now, we’d say that it will be Myq and 3 Shades of Blue who go through, since voters do tend to enjoy comics and rock bands. We’re still not ruling out DM Nation, given that they may be able to rally all of the Canadian fans together.
