‘Person of Interest’ season 5 spoilers: ‘Enlisted,’ ‘Community’ alum Keith David signs up
Over the past couple of years, Keith David has been part of a couple of really great comedies in “Enlisted” as well as “Community.” Now, he is getting a chance to be a part of a rather great drama.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, David has secured a spot for himself on the upcoming fifth (and possibly final) season of “Person of Interest,” playing a tough supervisory agent named Terence Beale. What is so fascinating about him for the most part is that he has a history of doing things that are not exactly above-board, and that makes him a pretty bad person to cross. Ultimately, most indications here suggest that he is not going to be anywhere near as happy or as warm to be around as we saw him on some of the aforementioned comedies.
Trying to find out how David fits into the world of this show will be mostly interesting because there are so many different orders of business that the show is going to need to take care of this upcoming season, and in a remarkably short of amount of time. You’ve got new opponents, returning characters, and also at least a hope that Reese and Finch can find some sort of peace. This is a violent, complicated show, and at times there are many difficult things that happen on it from start to finish.
There is still, sadly, no confirmed premiere date for season 5. By our own personal estimation, we would say that new episodes are probably going to start up somewhere between January and March.
