‘The X Factor’ UK premiere date revealed!

X Factor -Want to know when the new season of “The X Factor” UK is going to be upon us! Well, we come now bearing the good news, and if you are in Britain, you better have August 29 on your calendar.

It has been suspected for some time that this is when the show was going to start on ITV, but for one reason or another, the network is very shy about revealing many of its premiere dates too far in advance. This is ultimately just one of those things that they really like to keep close to the vest.

One of the most interesting things about this reveal in particular is that we’ve actually learned about it for the most part thanks to AXS, the network who broadcasts the series in America. They announced using an promo with old footage this week that the is starting stateside on Sunday, August 30. Given that they are typically a day and a half behind, this does give up a pretty easy-to-understand time frame for when the show is coming back in Britain.

There are some pretty sweeping changes to the show that will be apparent to many almost right away. For example, we’re going to see this time an appearance from Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw on the judging panel, replacing Mel B and Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini. Not only that, but Olly Murs and Caroline Flack are the no co-hosts, coming on as replacements for last year’s emcee Dermot O’Leary. He is particularly popular, and somebody we are going to miss even if we do like the new roster very much.
