‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: How Bruce Wayne keeps the hunt alive
Just in case anyone out there was wondering how active Bruce Wayne is going to be on “Gotham” season 2 when it comes to figuring out what happened to his parents, the answer is rather simple: Very. Think of the events at the end of season 1 as a stepping stone to everything that is going to be coming up, and every indication that we are getting at the moment suggests that Bruce’s story is only going to snowball moving forward. Why have that scene at the end of season 1 otherwise?
One thing that the young actor behind the role in David Mazouz makes clear to TVLine is that other than maybe some help here and there from Alfred (we’re just assuming that), Bruce is going to be for the most part alone in this:
“Gordon’s not really looking into it that much anymore, but Bruce is. The Top 3 things that are on Bruce’s list are: take down the corrupt side of Wayne Enterprises, find out who his father really was, and find out his parents’ murderer. And they’re all connected.”
If that’s not a great tease for you of some of the upcoming story, then what really is? It gives you a sense of just about everything that you could want to know for the Bruce story, and we’re interested in seeing how they handle this character in particular. There is obviously going to be a temptation to move him along very quickly, but at the same time, it’s not Batboy he eventually becomes.
