‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Will Dr. Chilton help capture Francis Dolarhyde?
We are now two episodes away from the end of the “Hannibal” Reg Dragon saga, and also potentially two episodes away from the end of the entire series. That is certainly a scary thought, no?
For those of you who are looking for this series to really explode with one crazy thing happening right after the next, you may get your wish on the next new episode of the show! “The Number of the Beast is 666…” is the name of the hour, and the story is going to bring back Raul Esparza into the fold as Chilton is called on to help track and find Francis Dolarhyde. To go along with that, Bedelia’s concerns about Will are going to escalate following the killer’s attack on his family. Take a look at the synopsis below:
“Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and the FBI enlist the expertise of Dr. Fredrick Chilton (guest star Raul Esparza) in the hopes of luring Francis Dolarhyde (guest star Richard Armitage) into an ambush, using Freddie Lounds (guest star Lara Jean Chorostecki) as their mouthpiece. As Will’s empathy for Dolarhyde begins to affect his fragile psyche, Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) warns that the killer Will should be most concerned about at the moment is himself. Meanwhile, Dolarhyde senses that the FBI is closing in and launches a horrifying endgame.”
One thing that we do especially appreciate about this episode is that it seems like many familiar faces are coming together at the right time, which is almost building an army against our foe. We only wish that we had a video promo to share along with this synopsis … but NBC stopped releasing those a few weeks ago.
