‘American Horror Story: Hotel’: Matt Bomer, Ryan Murphy on the praise for Lady Gaga

AHSThere are always many mysteries when it comes to the story of an “American Horror Story” season, but this time around there have also been some mysteries when it comes to the cast to go along with it. Lady Gaga has done some acting over the years, but this is one of her first featured roles in a TV series.

Based on what everyone is saying on set about her performance, it seems like you definitely have nothing to fear other than the show inevitably scaring the hell out of you. Series stars Matt Bomer and Kathy Bates were quick to praise Gaga in posts on Twitter, with show co-creator Ryan Murphy being quick to do the same thing. Gaga began filming her role as Elizabeth a little earlier this week, and we know that in particular, she will spend a lot of time working with Bomer, Finn Wittrock, and Angela Bassett.

Who knows just where the story will go from here this season? We probably feel with this show more than almost any other on TV that there are a number of surprising detours and twists we don’t see coming, and it’s possible that Gaga’s character could end in an entirely different place than where she began. We’d be silly to really rule anything out for her at this point.

Unfortunately, you still have to wait for a little while longer to see how all this unfolds. “American Horror Story: Hotel” premieres on FX come Wednesday, October 7 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
