‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 14 preview: ‘Girl Meets Creativity’ and a mission to save art

Girl Meets World -Other than being set at a school and preaching messages about acceptance and identity, there are only a few times when we can make a direct comparison between “Girl Meets World” and “Glee.” Next week’s episode entitled “Girl Meets Creativity” is going to add an additional one to the tally, as the story for this episode is going to be all about the students of John Quincy Adams trying to find a way to ensure that the arts program at the school is not snatched away. This is basically the story for a majority of “Glee” episodes over the course of that series’ run.

Just in case you have not heard too many details in terms of what to expect from this particular installment yet, we’ll point you to the synopsis below (though we would be silly to not tell you that there’s not too much in the way of new content teased here):

“When art and music are threatened to be cut from school, the kids have to find a creative way to convince the school board to show their value.”

There is obviously a message at the center of this story (arts education is important), but in going beyond that the kids convincing the school board to keep arts around is an opportunity for the show to have a little bit of fun. This episode should be a nice change-up from “Girl Meets Semi-Formal,” an episode airing Friday night that is about a very important time in any student’s life: School dances and the awkwardness that is commonly associated with them.
