‘Fargo’ season 2 promo: Want some fighting with your donuts?

It’s pretty hard to feel anything than excitement after watching some of the latest promos for “Fargo” season 2. While we still have no idea whether or not this show will actually be good, we are at least confident in saying that the right mixture of drama and comedy is there.

The latest promo starts out very violent and disturbing, since we are basically watching what seems to be a father-and-son pair beating some guy up. After that, we realize that the two are actually in a donut shop, and they order their food like there is no problem in the world. Apparently, getting into fights makes you want to load up on carbs!

For those wanting something more than the TV form of a donut (a.k.a. this teaser), what we’ll tell you for now about season 2 is that we are going back in time to the 1970s, when Lou was young and still working to solve crimes. Patrick Wilson’s character is going to be at the center of a pretty terrible investigation that will appall many people living in this region. This is one of those places where you cannot imagine just this sort of thing happening, so it catches everyone by shock.

The rest of the cast for season 2 includes the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson, Nick Offerman, and many more names that you should be familiar with. It’s the sort of crew that gets you excited, and at the same time you can also picture them in this world. It’s a little bit different than “True Detective” in some ways because of that.
