‘Downton Abbey’ season 6: Michelle Dockery reunites with former co-star!
“Downton Abbey” is closing the door on its final season right now, and to coincide with this the cast past and present is getting an opportunity to really tribute everything that they have been through to date.
With this in mind, we bring to you now the latest social-media post below from star Dan Stevens, who shares the first photo in pretty much forever alongside co-star Michelle Dockery. Stevens was of course a huge part of the third season of the show, and the sudden death of Matthew during the Christmas Special (Merry Christmas to all!) has to go down as the most-shocking moment in the history of the series. While losing Sybil was hard, this was truly a moment that came completely out of left field and it decimated the show’s most-popular romance.
Luckily, the series has flourished still even without Stevens in the cast, and it will be ending with Dockery’s Mary potentially finding love again. It has been a tough journey for her, but we are starting to get closer to seeing how everything comes to a close. It’s also nice to see Stevens still having a great relationship with the rest of the cast.
The new season of “Downton Abbey” is going to premiere a little bit later this fall on ITV, and it will be coming on PBS this January. Be prepared for twists, turns, and of course plenty of drama. This should be a great way to say goodbye.
