‘Pretty Little Liars’ summer finale: Is Wren, CeCe Drake, Lucas, or someone else Charles / ‘A’?

Tonight, the truth was finally revealed on “Pretty Little Liars” after many years of waiting … and we’re sure that opinions are going to be divided. They always are with this show.

Over the course of the day, ABC Family revealed a wide array of clues as to the identity of “A” / Charles, but few of them gave us a good idea as to just who this villain was going to be other than that they were a character who was prominent in the universe, and that they have spent time with all of the Liars in some way.

So who was it? Drum roll please … it’s CeCe? Really? It appears that was at the time in which we are writing this, but maybe this is yet another twist. We’ll believe it in a minute when we have some more information beyond just seeing her under the hood. (Update: Okay, now we’re starting to believe it now that we are getting more evidence.)

This reveal is mostly surprising to us given that CeCe was not a character we knew during the earliest days of the show, and we assumed that it would be a character from the early season of the show who had been around for the full story. We’re interested to learn from Vanessa Ray (who plays the character) how long she has known.
