‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 (summer finale) spoilers: Alison’s present, season 6B future
Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” summer finale is going to be a huge one. We don’t think it takes a whole lot of effort to sell anyone on that point now. “Game Over, Charles” will be your source of answers to almost all things “A.” You will find out who they are (beyond Charles), why they’ve done what they have, and what happens for the immediate future.
With that being said, there is still a story left to tell after this! The show is moving forward five years to life after college (at least for those who go), and the “A” threat will return in some form. For the time being, check out this tease from Sasha Pieterse (Alison) via TVLine to get a good sense of the show’s past, present, and future:
“When we go to the flashforward, which is five years later, we literally reinvent our show … The finale tells us everything — who ‘A’ is and why everything happened — so you kind of think, ‘OK, where do we go from here?’ The writers have done a great job with what happens next and what our characters have gone through in these five years. The show is definitely not over, but there are also no more questions when it comes to the past.”
Pieterse also told the publication that many out there will be surprise with where Alison is when the flash-forwards pick up. (This will air in 2016.) Our biggest surprise would be either seeing her married and with a kid (some definite sort of normalcy that she never had), or her completely shutting herself away from the world and finding a job that allows for that perfectly.
