‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: Are Jade Roper, Tanner Tolbert show’s top couple?

We’ve spent a heck of a lot of time as of late discussing some of the drama on “Bachelor in Paradise,” and understandably so. This is a show that really feeds on that sort of stuff like nobody’s business.

However, at the same exact time, you do have to remember at some point that this is meant to be a show about love. Therefore, there has to be at least one occasion where people are actually building towards something, right? We thought we’d at least spend a minute or two focusing here on couples who actually do seem to be making a little progress.

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert – They have been very under-the-radar as of late, but we have yet to see any evidence at all that these two are anything other than solid. They both seem to be likable people who aren’t necessarily there for fame or to be on another season.

Ashley Salter and Dan Cox – We feel good about them for now, but the truth here is that when you have Ashley S. involved, nothing is ever altogether predictable. We’re going to withhold some of our judgment here until we get a little bit further in the season.

KirkDeWindt and Carly Waddell – So far, so good here. We haven’t necessarily seen crazy romantic sparks, but there is at least something here and the two seem to get along. Anything that keeps Carly and her confessionals around is something we get behind.

As for all of the other pairs, there are not really any pairs at all. Ashley I. and Clare are both competing over Jared right now, Tenley has a multitude of male suitors, and Juelia seems to be with Joe now over Jonathan … even though Joe seems to be mostly using her.
