‘Falling Skies’ season 5, episode 8 preview: Is someone about to die via firing squad?

Can you believe that there are only three episodes left until we making it to the end of “Falling Skies”? That is pretty darn crazy no matter how you think about it, and we are trying brace ourselves already for that. After all, it is going to be a far from easy thing to swallow.

What makes this perhaps even crazier is seeing the promo below next week’s episode, which certainly does a very good job at making you think that we could have many shocking character deaths. That’s what happens when you line being up with bags over their heads, after all. We have spent so much time dealing with aliens and what they can do to the survivors, there are still reminders every now and then on this that one of the biggest threats remaining is still very much human.

In case you missed it in past articles, “Stalag 14th Virginia” is the name of this episode, and you can see the synopsis for it below:

“Weaver discovers a shocking truth about an old friend and must decide how to best protect the 2nd Mass. Maggie and Isabella are forced to work together, while the remainder of the 2nd Mass attempts an escape led by Tom.”

The thing about this show that has us worried is that we still feel like there needs to be some hope for us to start to feel okay about the direction we are going in … and there is not that much time left for said hope to appear.
