‘Scream Queens’ spoilers: Jamie Lee Curtis’ onscreen husband cast

The premiere of “Scream Queens” will be coming to Fox on Tuesday, September 22, and just in case the cast for this show was not enormous enough already, we have some more additions to announce right now!

As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Philip Casnoff (“NCIS,” “Dollhouse,” and countless theater roles) is being brought aboard the show in the role of the husband to Jamie Lee Curtis’ important character of Dean Cathy Munsch. He ends up at one point leaving her for a younger woman named Feather, which is more or less the sort of ridiculous name you would expect for someone in this situation.

“Scream Queens” already has a huge regular / recurring cast that includes Ariana Grande, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Nick Jonas, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, and so many more that you would think there would not be much time to fit Casnoff in. The way we figure that this is going to work is that he may perhaps appear a few episodes into the run, and therefore by that time some of the other people could be killed off.

After all, remember here that one of the central conceits of this show is that someone is supposed to die on an almost-weekly basis. There will be a select few characters who make it to the end, and then they will have a chance to move forward to the next season.
