‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 continues to play up the Dark Swan angle in new key art

The wait for “Once Upon a Time” to premiere season 5 is still a long one. It’s happening on Sunday, September 27, and for the most part now all we have to do is sit around and be grateful that ABC is starting to give us some more in the way of coverage for it … and that includes the latest promo below.

If you look below, you can see what we would consider for a most part a hopeful message on the part of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) that her daughter Emma (Jennifer Morrison) can find a way to avoid what is currently plaguing her, otherwise known as the darkness within. We are seeing more and more of just how difficult a struggle this is going to be based on some promotional material and information about what the darkness can do to someone. For one, it’s already caused Emma to undergo a massive makeover!

Just as the story is going to be about the Dark Swan, at the same time we also feel like there is a part of it that will be very much about just what Snow, Charming, Hook, and others are going to be doing in order to ensure that they get the person that they love back. They will do whatever they can in order to seek out Merlin, and that includes going to Camelot.

As filming continues, we imagine that we will have so much more to share. Stay tuned!
