‘Girl Meets World’ season 2 spoilers: Could Riley be off to Texas?

Throughout most of “Girl Meets World” season 2 so far, the show has gotten a good bit of mileage out of the character of Lucas being from Texas. Therefore, couldn’t it make some sense to see where he comes from in an upcoming episode?

While we cannot give everything away on the subject of this story just yet, we can at least tell you via SpoilerTV that one of the episodes near the end of this season is entitled “Girl Meets Texas: Part 1,” which certainly suggests that the show is going to do something when it comes to this story. This could be a nice way for one to further along the Riley / Lucas friendship (and potential relationship) by showing more of him in his element; or, maybe the title is some sort of a decoy for a different story.

What we at least know right now is that we’re in the middle of another run of new episodes this month, and there are some other interesting stories that are still being told. Moving forward into later this fall there will be another Halloween episode, an episode entitled “Girl Meets Rileytown,” a few more that appear conceptual and are a little more lesson-based. The show continues to do a good job this season of mixing together some of the nostalgia for the original series alongside some of the new dynamics and humor that they have introduced with its young cast.
