‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: Lucy Hale sets up story after summer finale
We know that Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” episode is going to serve as the show’s summer finale, and as a result of that, it is going to be an enormous episode. You are finally going to get a chance to see just who took up the mantel of “A” from Mona, who Charles really is, and understand their motives more than ever.
Beyond that, though, there continues to be a story to tell, and when the show returns in 2016 you will see a very different side of the likes of Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna. Want to know more right away? Then our suggestion is to take a look at what Lucy Hale said (per The Huffington Post) during a very recent video chat:
“They decided that they wanted to flash-forward five years in the future. The girls have been living an ‘A’-free live … and Alison begs them to come back to Rosewood … [We’re] seeing how their lives have developed over these five years. They have new relationships, and the big whirlwind of ‘A’ continues … There’s definitely a little friction [between the girls], but you’ll see why.”
The premise for the new season is definitely a cool one, and our simple hope here for the most part is just that the story continues to be stuffed full of drama, but also gives us a new sense of tone and of progression. We don’t want there to be suddenly another big “A” mystery, and it would be a little more interesting (at least to us) to see the Liars react potentially to having “A” a little more out in the open.
