‘MasterChef’ season 6, episode 14 preview: One of the grossest challenge to date
Here is the debate when it comes to next week’s “MasterChef” episode: Why are you putting the first-ever vegetarian challenge alongside probably the grossest meat-related pressure test in the history of the show?
Let’s be clear exactly what we are dealing with right now: Animal heads. Seriously, it’s disgusting. Sure, those of you who are against eating animals have an argument that every protein cooked over the course of the season all comes from the same place, but there is something different visually to many seeing the very thing you are cooking looking back at you. There are some moments of this show that we find uncomfortable to watch, and this will probably top the list while we are watching it.
We’ve been wrong a couple of times now when it comes to who is going to go home next, so we don’t really have too much more confidence in our ability to guess. For example, we thought that Shelly and Christopher had edits of people who would finish in the top 6, but come up short of the title.
Instead, let’s talk here about the potential favorites. Stephen would be a really fun winner given that he is a really good cook, and to go along with that is also someone with a knack for entertainment. He’s got that sort of big personality that few other winners of the show have. At the same time, Derrick and Claudia are also very charismatic in their own right, and it would probably be wrong to rule out someone like Hetal. She should in theory shine next week, given that this is one of the first times all season that she is really getting to cook to her strengths.
