‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: First look at Tigress, Theo Galvan!

“Gotham” is already promoting itself heavily as the season of villains, and there is certainly quite a reason for that. After all, the show is delivering to us a wide array of evil-doers new and old.

Obviously, the likes of Edward Nygma, Oswald Cobblepot, and Barbara Keen (who now falls firmly into the villain camp) are going to be a part of the show, but you are also going to get more of Jerome and also someone who is well-known to many DC Comics fans as Tigress: Tabitha Galvan, played here by Jessica Lucas of “Gracepoint” fame. The photo above comes via The Hollywood Reporter, and is the first real look the show has given us so far of the notorious character.

There are some clear differences in costume between this one and the one that we see the character have in the comics, but for the most part we feel like the show is doing a good job of at least capturing the essence of who Tigress is for the TV viewing audience.

Meanwhile, below you can also get a look at James Frain (“True Blood”) as her brother Theo Galvan, a powerful billionaire who claims that he wants to be the city’s savior. However, at the same time he possesses some darker intentions that may come to light at some point before we get around to the end of the season.

The new season of “Gotham” premieres on Fox on Monday, September 21 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. We’ll have more news before then, so stay tuned!
