Even though “Bates Motel” is not coming back onto A&E until at some point in the spring of next year, it’s never too early for news … right? This is at least what we’re thinking going into this article.
Given all of the crazy ways in which season 3 ended, it is only understandable that you would want some answers. Luckily, early indications suggest that you are going to get plenty of them in the early going on season 4. Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Kerry Ehrin makes it clear that the new season will begin almost immediately after season 3, and address so many of the issues that are still lingering on your mind:
“We left with a lot of cliffhangers — Bradley had just been killed, Norman thinks his mother did it, the actual Norma has no idea where her son is, Emma’s going in for a lung transplant. So there are a lot of threads we [wanted] to pick up immediately.”
We know that this season will have to send Norman even further into darkness, since eventually he does have to get to the point in which we see him in the “Psycho” movie. With that being said, we also know that this is not going to be the final season coming up. Therefore, there will still be something waiting on the other side, and that will be interesting to watch unfold.
Hopefully, we’ll have so much more in the way of scoop on the show soon enough. Be on the lookout!
