‘Power’ season 2, episode 9 video: Ghost hangs on the edge; Angela’s suspicions; Tommy’s trial

The closer that we get to the end of “Power” season 2, and the more and more danger that Ghost is in of having his entire operation completely unraveled. Is it really possible that someone close to him could die as a result of his actions? We’d argue at the moment that it is more than possible; it’s likely.

The promo below for next week’s episode shows just what the stakes are, as Tommy is behind bars and who knows what he would be willing to do at this point to free himself? Ghost may be incredibly sharp and fiercely manipulative, but this is a position where he does not have that much control. Add to that the potential of Angela starting to breathe more and more down his neck, and this is a situation where somebody could very easily get hurt. He tries to offer up some reassurances that everything is going to be okay, but we’re not sure that is really possible given his present situation.

While specifics at the moment are unclear (such as what Angela could learn or whether or not Ghost and Tasha could get burned by Tommy), there is this sinking feeling now that something huge is going to happen before we make it to the end of the season. We’re building towards something that could alter the entire course of the show for the already-renewed third season.
