‘The X Factor’ UK: Rita Ora defends position on judging panel
Was there ever anyone actually questioning whether or not Rita Ora had the right to be a panelist on the new season of “The X Factor” UK? That is something that we’re still trying to figure out, given that the majority of the buzz we’ve seen has been very positive. Sure, she is the youngest member of the panel, but she has hit singles and is also extremely popular with many people around the world. What better way to show off more of the appeal of the series?
Still, apparently someone out there must have been saying something, as Rita herself justified her position on the panel for this coming season in a new spread with Glamour magazine:
“It’s not about thinking, “Oh my God, I want to be on TV every Saturday night!” I’m a musician, I’ve built this bond with my team, with the music industry. I’ve worked hard to be involved with everything you see my name associated with. It doesn’t happen overnight, and I feel I have as much right to be on that panel as everyone does.”
If Rita was an unknown to reality competition shows, we imagine that we’d be at least slightly more concerned about her. However, she has done this rodeo before courtesy of the British version of “The Voice,” and knows very well already what she is meant to do. We’ve also seen the proof that she can be exceptionally entertaining and fun.
The new season of “The X Factor” will premiere a little later this summer on ITV, but we’ve got your full resource of news on the show now! She’s the youngest and was put there to draw the younger audience but the younger audience is not watching TV They are on their iphones and ipads. With her being younger, shes going to turn off the older audience. They don’t like her. She’s Rob Kardashians ex. No one is going to take her seriously
