‘Scream Queens’ spoilers: See Lucien Laviscount describe Earl Grey

There are few shows that we are excited about in the way that we are “Scream Queens.” The new Ryan Murphy series has deservedly received a ton of buzz, and unfortunately was subject earlier this week to a very disappointing leak. We’re not going to say anything else about it here, other than that we really wish people would respect content creators a little bit more than they do.

Anyway, let’s move on now to what is the real focus of this article for us, and that is spending a minute or two discussing the video introduction below to Lucien Laviscount and his character of Earl Grey, a frat member who will be connected somehow to the story. We are very much excited to see that Lucien is getting to be a part of this story moving into the future, if for no other reason than that his TV journey has been a fascinating one.

While some out there may know Laviscount for “Skins,” he also was a part of two high-profile pilots on The CW, beginning with “The Selection” and then the “Supernatural” spin-off “Supernatural: Bloodlines.” Neither ended up going to series, but sometimes you have things like this that happen that later turn out to be blessings in disguise, given that he gets to be a part of this show. A good comparison here is Thomas Middleditch, who was at first a part of the “Office” spin-off pilot “The Farm,” but after that did not go to series, he eventually scored the lead in “Silicon Valley.”

“Scream Queens” also stars Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Keke Palmer, and more. It premieres on Fox Tuesday, September 22.
