‘Suits’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Amy Acker returns in ‘Hitting Home’

After tonight’s new episode of “Suits,” the show is moving perhaps even more so into an interesting position. We have Louis Litt and Mike Ross recovering from working together, and we also have a setup that could allow for more Louis backstory than ever before.

Why is that? As you may have heard before that, Amy Acker is set to appear on the next new episode “Hitting Home” yet again, where she will be reprising her role as his sister Esther. We saw her have some chemistry with Harvey, but we don’t know if there will be anything more in terms of story involving the two at all. All we can do is share the synopsis below, which does offer you up some more news when it comes to Donna and Harvey:

“At Jessica’s behest, Mike teams up with Jack Soloff to co-counsel a case, and despite their history the two come to a surprising understanding. Meanwhile, Esther Litt returns to P.S.L. to solve a problem discreetly, but Louis rarely handles anything quietly – especially when it comes to family. And Donna and Harvey try to get their friendship back to normal, but Harvey has a hard time stomaching Donna’s “friendly advice.”

The biggest carryover story in this episode has to be Mike having to work alongside Jack, mostly because he spent most of tonight’s episode arranging a deal that would undermine Harvey and really tick off Jessica at the same time. That is not the sort of combination you really want to see the majority of the time.
