‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 7 preview: Animal instincts

We are coming up on the halfway mark for “Ink Master” season 6 and although this season hasn’t had a lot of drama to it, the one thing it has had is a group of artists that have continued to surprise and delight us with their creativity and designs. This has been one of the best talent pools we have seen on the show and one of the few times we can honestly say that this is anyone’s game to win. You’ve got someone like St. Marq who is extremely confident, but then also some other big contenders like Matt O’Baugh (who won tonight’s challenge) and Chris Blinston.

So where are we going next week on the series? Basically, a challenge that looks pretty awesome, but also one that could be incredibly hard to execute: The task revolves around trying to transform a person into an animal, which is not going to be easy. There’s a lot of work that will need to be done to make these transformations happen, and this could lead to conflicts with human canvases and/or tears.

The sad thing about the preview that aired tonight was really how little it actually showed. Remember that romance with Marisa and Tyler last week? Where in the world was that tonight? The short answer was nowhere, and it didn’t show up in this preview here.

What we do get a sense of is that there is a clash of the titans coming with St. Marq, Chris, and some of the other super-strong tattooers, and we cannot wait to see how this ends.
