‘Faking It’ season 2 spoilers: A wide array of new teasers

If you have been reading CarterMatt today, then you are probably more than aware that this marked the day of MTV’s presentation at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour! We’ve got a variety of scoop on many different shows coming on later this fall, and today this includes “Faking It.”

The synopsis below gives you a little bit of a sense of what is coming up for Karma and Amy after they tried to get on good terms again after what happened between Amy and Liam. It makes it clear that there is some more drama ahead for the two of them, but they’re not the only ones given that Shane and Lauren each have their own storylines and issues that they really need to deal with:

“​This season on “Faking It,” Hester High is turned on its head when a new Principal arrives with a mission to get the school back on track.  At the same time, Karma and Amy are trying to get their friendship back to normal after Karma learned that Amy slept with Liam. Can they ever get past that betrayal?  Will Karma ever forgive Liam? How will Lauren get past Theo’s betrayal? And will she beat Shane for Class President now that the school knows her secret? Speaking of Shane, can he keep his boyfriend Duke from finding out that he’s the one who outed him?”

The series returns on August 31 in a new timeslot at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time. Here’s to hoping the show is able to find once again a wide audience.
