‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: Troian Bellisario of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ to return

Troian Bellisario was great in her one appearance on “Suits” previously, so why not have her back? Clearly, someone with the USA series agrees with this, and now it’s going to be happening.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “Pretty Little Liars” actress and real-life fiancee of series star Patrick J. Adams is going to reprise her role as Claire during the upcoming August 12 episode entitled “Mea Culpa.” The twist here is that while in the previous appearance Claire was only seen during flashbacks when Mike was attempting to impress her by lying, she is now going to appear in the present-day, and will be serving as opposing counsel in a case that could unsurprisingly threaten the secrets that Mike has tried so hard to keep buried.

Could this lead to there being some more tension between Mike and Rachel? It certainly seems possible, and mostly due to the fact that Rachel is going to have to confront more than ever the idea that some of her fiance’s long-kept secrets could someday be exposed, and in the process derail everything that they have worked for. What would she tell any future children about what he does for a living and how he cheated to get there? It’s not really going to help them be much of a role model that’s for sure.

There are still many episodes left on “Suits” this summer, and there is an exciting one coming up that will feature an appearance from Amy Acker once again as Louis Litt’s sister. In other words, there is a lot to look forward to when it comes to both the story and some great appearances from guest stars.
