ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: First photo of Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion on set!

Great news, “Castle” fans: The gang is officially back together again which means soon we will have new episodes to dig into. Just a few more months to wait and while that may seem like a long time, it really isn’t.

As you likely heard in a variety of other stories from earlier this week, Stana Katic is back on the ABC show’s set and preparing the upcoming eighth season of the series along with Nathan Fillion, Jon Huertas, Seamus Dever, and the rest of the cast. The photo of Stana and Nathan working together comes courtesy of executive producer Alexi Hawley on Twitter, who is new to the co-showrunner title, but far from new to the show. What does this suggest to us? More than anything else, that our two leads are going to be spending much more time together onscreen and fans will be getting a lot more of what they love – that Castle/Beckett chemistry.

Just in case that was not enough for you, take a look at what Fillion said himself in the tweet below! Granted, there is no guarantee that he is speaking about “Castle,” but given that filming is underway that has to be the prevailing theory here, right? Even if he’s not talking about the show, we still feeling like there’s something great in store for us.

Katic said earlier this week that the first two episodes this season are going to be themed all around a major event in Castle and Beckett’s lives, one will cause us to get to see a variety of different perspectives on it. This should make for an exciting two episodes, especially since we are coming off of an epic cliffhanger where the entire future of Beckett’s career remains at present a mystery. We’re going to have further news as it starts to come out.
