‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 summer finale officially promises answers
We posted over the weekend that “Pretty Little Liars” was being incredibly secretive about the content of their upcoming summer finale, but today they are finally starting to become a little more clear about what the story is going to be for “Game Over, Charles.” This installment airs on August 11, and this is going to be the one that ends the show’s run in the present timeline. After this, time will jump forth more than five years.
We’re going to go ahead and get to the synopsis below, mostly because that is really what people are going to care about the most right now:
“Who killed Toby’s mother? Who hit Alison in the head with the rock the night she went missing? Who is Red Coat? Who killed Bethany? Who is the Black Widow? Why has ‘A’ been targeting the PLLs all this time? After years of torture, Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer finally come face-to-face with their tormentor and learn the story of how and why Charles became ‘A.’”
There are already rumors and speculation about who this person could be, but we’re not going to really say anything for certain until we see this episode. For now, it feels like we can probably write off people like Ezra and Toby as suspects, and it feels far too evil to have it be one of the parents. Could it be one of the Liars themselves? We suppose it’s possible, but we imagine that there are too many logic leaps to have that really check out when you look back.
