‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The night is long and full of boring

After the past 48 hours or so on the “Big Brother 17” live feeds, it feels now almost like we’ve managed to come to a complete stop. Things are much more boring today than they’ve been, and there is one simple reason for that above all else: Outback Steakhouse. You got everybody all full and tired, and now they’re sitting around groaning! Okay, we’re exaggerating slightly since only a select number of people from the Battle of the Block Competition got a chance to eat.

Our biggest complaint about that is simple: How do you not give them a Bloomin’ Onion? Seriously. Isn’t that their most famous thing?

Anyhow, the plan for now doesn’t seem to have changed. Vanessa is not going to nominate Austin as was the original plan. Instead, she is looking to go after either Jackie or or Jason. Austin wants Jason of course given what he did to blow up some of his game, which Austin in turn should only blame himself for. Either way, Vanessa and Liz seem to want him blowing up on people after the Ceremony. After they go out on a limb for them, can you really be that upset that they want to turn him into the big target? This feels a little bit like the position Zach was in, where Derrick and Cody at times used him to blow up on people and increase his target.

The one notable thing tonight? Becky and Vanessa’s conversation. Maybe we’re reading it wrong, but it seemed like Vanessa was throwing subtle shade at her almost throughout the entire talk. If Becky is up against Jackie, we hope that she stays. We feel like there is another gear here that we haven’t seen yet.
