‘Masters of Sex’ season 3, episode 4 preview: What’s next for Michael Sheen, Lizzy Caplan in ‘Undue Influence’
Throughout the course of “Masters of Sex” season 3 so far, things with Masters of Johnson have been somewhat of a pendulum, swinging back and forth and dealing with a variety of different factors playing various parts in their lives. We’ve seen them struggle with feelings, with work troubles, and of course with the pressures of now being a big deal. This is a position that Lizzy Caplan and Michael Sheen’s characters are not entirely used to.
With this in mind, it is fair to speculate that there is going to be a great deal of time spent on next week’s “Undue Influence” with the two of them continuing to adjust, while still balancing out the new circumstances of their world. You can get some more news on what to expect via the TV Guide synopsis below:
“Masters tries to convince Johnson to rededicate herself to the study and to him; a familiar face returns to the clinic for help; Libby attempts to help Paul and Joy repair their shattered lives; Johnson fails to notice that Tessa is trying to make sense of her home life and the events at the homecoming dance.”
The promo below was really a reminder that Masters and Johnson are really trying to make things work, and there are definitely complications. Dan Logan will start to make Masters a little envious, and he is going to try a new strategy: Going for sympathy. We’ll see how that works.
