‘The Bachelorette’ finale spoilers: Is Nick Viall terrified of Neil Lane?
Every season on “The Bachelorette,” there is one person you can expect to see before the final Rose Ceremony: Neil Lane. This guy probably has one of the best marketing deals ever with the show. He supplies the engagement rings every season (which are always some enormously expensive creation), and in turn he gets a ton of publicity for being there.
While Nick Viall made it all the way to the final two on Andi Dorfman’s season last year, he did not have the opportunity to actually meet the jeweler face to face. As a matter of fact, he was expecting to meet him when he instead received a knock on the door from Andi, who decided that this was the right moment to explain to Nick that her feelings for Josh Murray were so much more than the ones that she had for him. That of course set up all of the other insanity during last year’s finale, and we are not sure that you will be forgetting that anytime soon.
We actually think that the sneak peek below via Yahoo TV of the finale is rather funny for a couple of different reasons:
1. Either Neil Lane is being really coy, or he has never really watched the show and has next to no idea who some of these people are. He acts completely oblivious to Nick during their conversation.
2. Nick seems almost so thrilled to actually see him that he proceeds to give this long elaborate story about what happened to him last year. We think that Nick’s better moments are when he is actually caught off guard by something, and you can really get a feel for his exuberance here. He was terrified of him showing up, mostly because he thought it could mean more heartache.
Now that we’ve said all this, we still don’t think he is going to win. The chemistry with Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth is undeniable, and in between the edit and her telling him that he is “the one” we expect that this is where the final rose will go. Hey Nick, at least you got to meet Neil Lane!
