‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Veto Players; Liz and Austin kiss; the plight of Steve

SteveToday is one of those days on “Big Brother” where depending on who is playing in the Veto, it is almost more important in some ways than the competition itself. If specific people are taking part, it could allow the majority alliance to take a nap until they send Austin home later in the week. The three people who absolutely cannot win in order for the plan to work out are Austin, Steve, and Liz. They are the only three who could cause things to go a little haywire.

With it now being confirmed that Liz is playing alongside Johnny Mac, Shelli, Head of Household Vanessa, and her nominees Clay and Becky, we have some intrigue. If Liz can win this (and she seems slightly aware that something weird is going on) and keeps nominations the same, there could be a surprising eviction and chaos in the house the rest of the week. There is at least a chance that the house could turn on Clay and send him home now that they have the chance.

What we wonder now is how many people are going to actually try to win this? Vanessa is worried about winning too many competitions, and Johnny Mac may be thinking something similar with two wins to his name, (he has made it clear, though, that he will remove Becky if he wins.) If Liz feels somewhat secure and there is a money prize, we could see her sitting this one out. Shelli will probably try for Clay’s sake, and it could be between her and the two nominees.

As for other news from last night, Liz and Austin finally kissed, and while we think he is way more into her than vice-versa, she’s not completely running away from him either. Meanwhile, Steve seems to be somewhat breaking down over being looked at as an outcast. We really do feel for him, especially since he is just the sort of awkward guy who really wants to fit in, but has a hard time in the execution. We’ve been there.

We’ll have the winner results later today, but head over here for now to get some other “Big Brother” updates! Also, to get some other TV news sent right to you via our CarterMatt Newsletter, head over to the link here. (Photo: CBS.)
