‘The 100’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Sons of Anarchy’ alum Michael Beach signs up

The third season of “The 100” is not going to be coming to The CW most likely until early next year, but why wait to get some of the latest news on the show?

According to Entertainment Weekly today, Michael Beach (known for playing T.O. Cross on “Sons of Anarchy”) has been booked to play the part of an Arker named Pike on the third season of the CW series. He is being described for the time being as a “tough and charismatic member of the Ark with a staunch moral code,” and he should give the Ark side of things a little bit more of a presence on the show moving forward.

We feel like this could be a very good casting for the show in particular when it comes to mixing together different fan followings. For example, we’re not entirely sure that the majority of “Sons of Anarchy” fans have ever seen “The 100,” and many this encourages some of them to check out an episode or two of the show. Through that, they may learn that this is not necessarily some teen drama set in a science fiction world like they may have thought just because it airs on The CW. It is so much more complicated than that.

There are still more than likely other casting headlines to be announced, and “The 100” is definitely doing a job right now of keeping us waiting. The series does not have a confirmed premiere date yet, but we’ll present you with more as it comes out.
