‘Royal Pains’ season 8: Premiere date speculation, more for USA drama

First and foremost, we just have to say here that it is rather shocking to even think for a minute that this season of “Royal Pains” is already over. It doesn’t feel like it was that long that it first began!

However, the finale is the finale, and there is nothing that can be done to change that at the moment. Instead, what you have to do instead here is more or less look towards what is a long wait for the start of season 8. This is a breezy summer show, and with that in mind you shouldn’t be that shocked to learn that you are going to be waiting until the summer of 2016 to see what is next.

So is season 8 going to be the last one for the show? Executive producer Michael Rauch did a Q&A on Twitter tonight, and in it he said that season 8 is not necessarily the end of the road; however, he did not have any answers one way or another. We can at least tell you that it will run for eight episodes.

Story-wise, almost everything was left up in the air after the finale. Divya and Raj may be getting engaged, Hank is looking to try to date available women for a change, and Evan and Paige have to start from scratch after learning that they are not going to be new parents to an adopted child. Hopefully, we’re also going to see more of Jeremiah next year after seeing so little of him this season.
