Is ‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 5 new tonight on Spike TV?

Most fans of “Ink Master” are not particularly used to waiting. Once a new season starts, they tend to air a new episode every week until we get to the end of the season.

However, that is not exactly what is taking place with tonight’s all-new episode on Spike TV. Thanks in part to the network wrapping up their “Tut” miniseries, the next new episode of the show will not air until July 28. To us it is somewhat of a curious decision to preempt the show for the miniseries when they could could have scheduled things a little bit differently, if for no other reason than that this show is one of the top-rated programs for the network and has a fiercely loyal following behind it. “Tut” is a miniseries that “Ink Master” even helped promote last week with a special Flash Challenge in its honor! Oh, the irony.

Anyway, when the show does return in a week’s time it will be with an interesting episode that will generate a whole lot of discussion by the time you make it to the end. There’s a pretty cool idea for a Flash Challenge, and as you saw in the preview, a human canvas is actually going to pass out! Could that cause an artist to have trouble staying in the competition? You will find out in due time.
