‘Major Crimes’ season 4, episode 8 preview: A tricky partnership emerges

Major Crimes -Next week’s “Major Crimes” is going to feature many a problem for the entire division. Why is that? It is the old problem of having to work with someone who may not necessarily be clean, and that could pose so problems as they work together on an old investigation. The promo below offers up at least a few details on the subject, but in all honesty, couldn’t they have shown so much more in here than they did? What we have in the promo is basically a summation of the first half of this synopsis:

“New information prompts the re-opening of an old kidnapping investigation, forcing Captain Raydor and her Major Crimes Division into partnership with a potentially corrupt FBI agent. Rusty has a major breakthrough in his investigation on Alice Herrera, but discovers he and T.J. are possibly not the friends he thought they were.”

We don’t want you to worry too much about Rusty, at least for the time being. We know that there will be progress on the Alice case coming before the end of the summer … but that is all we can tell you for the time being. Do we hope that there is a resolution? Sure, but remember that there is also a back half of the season, and most of the long-running stories right now on this show are revolving around this character.

For those curious, there are five more episodes of “Major Crimes” airing before we get to hiatus.
