‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Will Kaitlyn Bristowe pick Nick Viall, Shawn Booth in finale?

All fans of “The Bachelorette,” brace yourselves: We are almost to the end of the season! The final two contestants are Shawn Booth and Nick Viall, and the show has really set this up as some sort of good vs. evil showdown. Granted, it’s weird to say that given that Shawn spent a good five minutes a week ago looking like he was about to punch Nick in the face.

Just based on the edit alone, we feel fairly confident that her choice is going to be Shawn. If she called him “the one” and then didn’t pick him, can you imagine the tabloids after that? She has also dealt with so many emotional breakdowns from this guy that at this point, she has to see something in him. He’s crazy about her, and if she was not into it, she would have sent him home.

So when it comes to Nick, we have someone who does seem to genuinely care about her, even if nobody else seems to see it or believe it in any way. If Nick is not picked, the “After the Final Rose” special could suddenly become must-see TV as a result of that. He is a candid guy, and Kaitlyn is a candid woman. These two together being open about a potential breakup would be ratings gold for ABC.

These are just all our own speculations on the finale, and it is going to be very interesting to watch everything unfold in just a week’s time. It feels clear to us that Shawn will be the one making the proposal at the end that she accepts … but crazier things have happened.

For those wondering, the promo after the show promises “the dramatic ending you won’t believe” … but we’re pretty sure we’ll believe it.
