‘Devious Maids’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Justice for Blanca?

There is a certain “whodunnit?” quality to this third season of “Devious Maids,” and this is something that makes this story incredibly interesting to us. This is a show that has always had a certain amount of soapy intrigue to it, but never quite in the form we are seeing this season.

Now, let’s get back to what we reference in the title: Is it possible for the maids to figure out just what happened to their friend? This is certainly the focus of the new sneak peek, as we get a chance to see Rosie alongside Marisol, Zoila, and Carmen talking about the subject. At first, most of them are dancing around a question that is eventually asked: Is it possible at all that Blanca is secretly responsible for this?

In the end, the conclusion is drawn that the ladies don’t think that Blanca is really capable of something so terrible, and we definitely get why their hearts are in such a place. Why in the world would they want to think that she could be responsible?

Yet, we are not writing anything out just yet as a possibility. This is a show that relishes in surprising you, and maybe Naya Rivera’s character was actually some sort of secret sociopath who was really good at befriending all of the women, only to prepare to turn around and completely stab in the back later. We’re definitely not ruling it out as a possibility, crazy as that may be.
