‘Power’ season 2, episode 6 reaction: Holly learns a thing or two about Tommy; 50 Cent speaks out

There are a couple of different stories worth reporting tonight when it comes to “Power” on Starz, but let’s begin with what is the to story coming out of Saturday’s episode: Is Holly on the lam? We know if nothing else that she has left Tommy behind in a hurry (and in a less-compromising position) after realizing just how into the “game” of it all he is. She would rather not deal with that understandably; we already know what a close allegiance to Ghost looks like.

Meanwhile, Ghost managed to spend the end of the episode trying to get Angela back on his good side after there was some major suspicion out there about him at the end of last week’s episode. He managed to pin quite a bit on Tommy, and maybe has cleared his name ever so slightly … though we don’t think that she is going to forget about the accusations anytime soon. Just because Angela did not see definitive proof means very little when the dust settles.

Through all of this, Ghost may have someone else to worry about further in Greg, who is privy at least to some of Angela’s meetings and very much realizes now that not all is as it seems, and is starting to have some suspicions.

As for another big moment, what about Tasha continuing to tell Ghost to continue what he’s doing with Angela, basically until things start to quiet down? there was clearly a lot of groundwork in here for the final episodes of the season.

We also have to spend at least a minute talking about the reaction of star 50 Cent (see the tweet HERE) to a carriage dispute between Starz and AT&T, one that could end up leading to the channel being pulled from the provider. We imagine that they will get this sorted out; people specifically pay fees monthly in order to get Starz, so we cannot imagine the provider (especially with this sort of message out there from the rapper / show star) wanting to even temporarily pull the plug.
