‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell are back on the scene
The second season of “The Flash” is now officially under way, and we are getting more and more reminders now that the show is going to feel in many ways familiar from the very moment that it is back on the air.
The latest bit of evidence of this familiarity is that both Captain Cold and Heat Wave are going to be coming back in the early going! Photos from Grant Gustin and Dominic Purcell’s Instagram show the two of them on set alongside Wentworth Miller, and these three should get a chance to do some really fun stuff. We anticipate getting a lot of Purcell and Miller through the first few episodes of season 2, especially with some of the comments that are out there that these are meant to be some sort of introduction to what the story is going to be for “Legends of Tomorrow.”
One other thing to remember here is fairly simple: Just because we are getting to see a lot of Wentworth and Dominic on another show, and it is one where they are in more of a heroic role, it does not mean that the two are necessarily going to be heroes in their own right. More than likely, it’s more complicated than that. There are situations where they may want to do good things, but it will probably have to benefit them in some way. They’ve always been self-reliant like that.
