‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 7 video: Alana Bloom gives Mason Verger a warning

Hannibal -Alana Bloom really makes the perfect analogy to Mason Verger on “Hannibal” tonight: Don’t play with your food. Sooner or later, it could end up biting back. Verger is a sadist and a man who takes great pleasure in the pain of others; however, in doing so he definitely leaves himself susceptible to vengeance, and he is not a guy capable of really defending himself at all.

In the sneak peek below, Alana uses this metaphor to encourage him to do one thing: Kill Hannibal, and don’t draw this out as long as humanly possible. The longer you do this, and the more chances you give him to find a way to weasel out of this uncomfortable situation. We don’t that Mason has any real interest in listening to her, but she at least gives it a good try.

In case you don’t remember why Hannibal will be at Mason’s famous farm, the easy answer to that is that he managed to get Hannibal and Will captured in Italy, and he is bringing them both back here for a little bit of fun.

Ultimately, it is the presence of Will who could complicate things for Alana in this episode. While she wants to see Hannibal suffer, remember the emotional connection that she has with Will. Is she going to be willing to allow something terrible to happen to him? This episode may be the most important one for Alana of this entire season, so even though “Hannibal” is on a new night in Saturdays, it is still worth watching live.
