‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: Is Bruce Wayne set to get a love interest?

Love may be in the air on “Gotham” season 2, and this time around it does not appear as though Selina Kyle is not involved at all! Bruce Wayne will be getting a new love interest, and it is to be seen just what her intentions ultimately are.

For the time being, what we can at least say is this. According to a new report coming in from Entertainment Weekly, Natalie Alyn Lind (“The Goldbergs”) has been brought in to appear potentially in multiple season 2 episodes as Silver St. Cloud. She is a young woman who has some social graces, and because she also lost her parents at a very young age, there is going to be some connective tissue here that allows her and the future Batman to bond.

Here is the troublesome part of it: The description for this character mentions a “dark intent” that could be bubbling up underneath the surface. While this is hardly any indication that she for sure that she turns out evil, there is a part of Bruce that should be worried.

In the end, though, it is someone like St. Cloud who could be incredibly important for the future development of the Wayne character. He needs to learn that there are very few people in this world that he can trust, and part of the process for that may just be learning the hard way that there are a wide variety of people who are not anywhere near as good as they profess to be.
