‘Suits’ season 5, episode 4 review: Amy Acker shines as Harvey meets Louis Litt’s sister

Suits -We anticipated “Suits” being stuffed full of verbal warfare on Wednesday night, but who knew it would be quite like this? Tonight’s “No Puedo Hacerlo” is probably our favorite of the entire season so far, mostly for how it managed to effortlessly combine great characters and conflicts.

Take, for example, the arrival of Amy Acker as Louis Litt’s sister Amy. Acker was brilliant in this role, and Harvey helped her to navigate through a business arrangement with her soon-to-be-ex-husband during a divorce. This led to cracks about divorce attorneys, but also Harvey working to negotiate a better deal with her while encouraging her to move on with her life. Did she move on … with Harvey? We worried that this was something straight out of a sitcom storyline, but it didn’t feel just like Harvey wanted to enrage Louis. There was really great chemistry there; we still ‘ship Harvey and Donna, but this could be a story worth watching.

We don’t actually know exactly what has happened between Harvey and Esther, but this is worth watching. The fact that Harvey thanked Donna at the end suggests that he may be ready to move on, as well.

As for Mike Ross, he actually managed to save Robert Zane in a negotiation process, even though there were moments in it where he started questioning his integrity and also causing potential rifts in the family. This gave Rachel a great opportunity to catch stand up for her father, which made for a nice change to her character.

As a whole, this episode was captivating, different from typical “Suits” hours, and we’re probably hooked now more than ever. Grade: A-.
