‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ spoilers: Richard T. Jones scores multi-episode arc
As we teased recently, “American Horror Story: Hotel” was not over when it comes to announcing some of its recurring players. For the latest evidence of that, all you have to do is look at what we have now!
According to a new report from Deadline, Richard T. Jones (“Judging Amy,” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) has signed on to appear in an eight-episode arc on the FX series in the role of Detective Hahn. He is a Homicide Detective for the city of Los Angeles, and we imagine that he may be called in for something that happens at the infamous hotel at the center of the story. This is at least what makes the most sense, given that this is a horror show and the odds of something pretty terrible happening over the course of this series seem to be fairly high.
Story-wise, we have heard from executive producer Ryan Murphy and others that this is going to be perhaps closest to the first two seasons of the show in terms of tone. Expect it to be darker, scarier, and much more of traditional horror than the past two years.
Jones of course joins a cast that is massive and impressive. It includes the likes of Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, and many more. Right now, the only listed premiere date is October, and we are going to have some further information when it comes to this show as time passes.
