‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Jason and Audrey talk; Vanessa’s ‘bribe’

For the most part, Tuesday has been quiet in the “Big Brother” house. Nobody has really spent that much time talking anything extreme when it comes to game, and instead the conversation we’ve been mostly transfixed on is seeing Vanessa try to bribe the Diary Room for more booze, promising that in return for alcohol someone will French kiss someone else in the house. They are making this into a date night complete with different pairings: Jackie / Steve, Becky / John, Jeff / Meg (that should be awkward), Clay / Shelli (of course), and Liz / Austin.

The one thing that we’ll say about this as a good ploy is that the show is desperate to promote romance at every turn. If you are a CBS viewer, you may have seen commercials advertising this sort of nonsense over any legitimate strategy. This is why some people don’t know what “Big Brother” is really about! We could rant on this subject for a while, but we’ll try to avoid it and move on to what we think are the interesting moves of the day.

1. James and Audrey sat down to squash whatever beef that they have … but really we just see the “you were never my target” stuff as posturing for their future. Both of them know that they could be in trouble soon, and may need each other.

2. Clay, Shelli, and James think that they “caught” Audrey eavesdropping.

3. Jeff still thinks that he has a shot to stay. The fact that he is as delusional as he is about this is a microcosm of more or less his entire time in the house this season. The may does not have a good reason on things.
