‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3, episode 6 video: Is Cat avoiding wedding planning?

We get the sense that Cat desperately does want to marry Vincent on “Beauty and the Beast,” but at the same time we are seeing some rather strange behavior from her in the sneak peek below from Thursday night’s “Chasing Ghosts.” Heather seems to be doing her part to help her and Vincent find a great venue, but her head is not in the game.

So what is going on here? We feel like for the most part, a very big part of this may have to deal with the actually logistics of making the wedding happen. That includes inviting family members you’ve never seen more than once or twice, or having the ceremony done at a place you’ve never been to. Ultimately, it is just not her style to be the center of attention, and at the end of the sneak peek she ducks out using work as an excuse.

We’re not particularly shaking in our boots about whether or not Cat is going to get married; she may just decide when the dust settles that she would rather explore some more alternative options rather than some of what is on the table at this given moment. A part of us does very much envision her having a tiny wedding with just Vincent, Tess, Heather, and JT there, maybe at a place where she feels very close to her fiance.
