‘Fargo’ season 2 promo takes you back to a different time (video)
Thanks to San Diego Comic-Con, FX is being very much liberal at the moment when it comes to sharing footage from some of their series. Today, that means getting a chance to see one of the first extended promos for the upcoming second season of “Fargo.”
This is not the first time that we have seen some sort of footage from the second season, but this gives you the right sort of sense of what the show’s scope, story, and humor are going to be. This takes you all the way back several decades, and focuses on a case that was a nightmare for Lou (played by Keith Carradine in the first season, and Patrick Wilson here). There is going to be blood, tears, surprises, and paranoia throughout the entire course of episodes premiering this September.
Above all else, what we are going to see is a sense of “I don’t know how something like that could happen here, and in this time.” This may be the mentality that allows this case to become so much worse than it was otherwise going to be.
There is still not a precise premiere date for the upcoming season that goes beyond the month, but we’ll let you know when we hear something. For now, just be sure to go and grab some hot chocolate, a donut from your local bakery, and prepare for some chilly storytelling from North Dakota and beyond.
What do you think about this new promo, and do you think that this is shaping up to be as fascinating a series as all that came before it? Share right now with a comment. (Photo: FX.)
