‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: A fitting name for premiere episode

Oliver -The season 4 premiere of “Arrow” is going to be coming on The CW October 7, and given what we know about this story already, there is no fitting name for premiere than “Green Arrow.” Co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim effectively confirmed the latest title for the series in a post on Twitter (see below), and this is a great compliment to both the new picture of Oliver Queen as the Arrow and also Stephen Amell’s awesome opening at San Diego Comic-Con where he introduced himself as the Green Arrow for the first time.

In some ways, we imagine that the premiere is going to feel almost like an entirely new pilot for the series. It’s a chance to start with a virtually-clean slate, since Ra’s al Ghul is now gone (or at least the one that we’ve come to know), and the story will probably be about how Oliver decides to end his trip around the world with Felicity to go back and pursue a mission to fight crime. He’s in a different place now; he’s happier, he understands himself, and he is in love.

By the end of the premiere, you will probably have a better opportunity to know just what loose threads from last season are still haunting our hero. We know that Damien Darhk is going to be the Big Bad, and that Malcolm Merlyn is out there as the head of the League of Assassins now that the previous Ra’s is gone. Both of these should make their presence felt in time.

Also, we’re going to at least see Diggle have a little more of a costume of his own soon enough. That’s something that you have to keep yourself aware of.
